End of the runway for LSF!

We are gutted to announce that despite our best efforts our next round of funding has unexpectedly collapsed, leaving us at the end of the runway and we are deeply disappointed to announce that LSF is closing with immediate effect.

We continue to believe in our novel, technology and its ability to recycle ‘end of life’ hydrocarbon-containing materials. However, maybe the world is simply not yet ready to invest in novel electrochemical technology.

While LSF will close with immediate effect, it is our earnest hope that this is not the end for the technology we have developed. We do have strong IP for our electrochemical process, with significant scientific analysis, analytical testing and a conceptual design for a first of a kind (FOAK) demo unit. We will shortly be starting discussions on the transfer of these assets and welcome expressions of interest from anyone wishing to continue the development of LSF’s technology.

While we are feeling bruised and disappointed today, we are grateful to have learned much on the journey building LSF. Thanks to our staff and customers, investors, supporters and everyone who has supported us and shared this journey with us. We can't mention everyone that has supported us however special mention must go to Innovate UK Business Connect, Royal Society of Chemistry, Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) | Partner in Sustainable Development and TransitionHERO.
